Remember me? ;)

I could list all the reasons why I haven't blogged in nearly a month, but I won't because who really cares, right? All that matters is that I'm back now, although I can't say for sure that I'll be blogging several times a week or anything like that. All I can promise is that I will try to blog more regularly :) I missed you guys!

So I've accumulated quite a few new products over the past few weeks/months that when it actually came time to blog, I didn't even know where to start....so I opted for the fail-proof FOTD route! Not the most exciting types of posts, I know, but I promise I'll work on some reviews of some of my new-ish goodies soon :)

In other news, I've been OBSESSED with my Clarisonic Mia ever since I got it during Sephora Friends & Family Sale. Surprisingly, the "purging phase" I experienced was tame and short-lived and my skin has been in really great condition ever since (still with the occasional break-outs though, of course!). I fell in love with it so quickly that I even snatched up a lavender one for my mom during the VIB sale for Christmas :) I'll definitely be reviewing mine in a few weeks.

I've been kind of out of the Twitter and beauty blogging loop for the past few weeks, but I did notice that a few of the beloved Chanel Rouge Allure Laques were being discontinued and the frenzy that ensued online soon after news broke. While I had often admired Dragon Rouge Allure Laque on others, I really never had any intention whatsoever of purchasing it for myself (mainly due to the fact that I don't tend to sport in-your-face red lips often enough to warrant the hefty $32 price tag), but then 3 things happened:

1. I saw this post on Temptalia.com.
2. I went to Nordstrom.com immediately and purchased something I didn't need.
3. I tweeted the following:

I had zero intention of doing it.......but then all of a sudden I just did. I bought Chanel Dragon. EEEEEEEEKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*slaps wrist*

Dragon seems to be sold out online at Nordstrom now, and even when I purchased it a few days ago, it was on backorder until the beginning of next month. Despite feeling a moderate amount of guilt for succumbing to temptation and spending a decent amount of money on something that will probably not get enough use from me to warrant the price tag, I'm still really excited for it to get here so I can wear it for the holidays!

So that's all from me for now, but I'll leave you with a little poll for a future post!
Which review would you be most interested in seeing?
1. Revlon Lip Butters
2. Jordana Easyshine Lip Colors
3. Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation

  4. Please please please review the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation first!

I keep passing by the display but the $27 price tag is cringe-worthy. Must read the perfect review to take the plunge. Otherwise, I will wait for a sale which is rare to come :(

    P.S. WELCOME BACK!

  7. Glad to see you back in the blogosphere, Tiffany! And looking gorgeous as ever, of course ;)

Would LOVE to read your thoughts on the Revlon lip butters - Berry Smoothie looks absolutely stellar. Talk about glossy!

  9. I've missed you loads! So happy to see your face on my blogroll again. I'm a firm believer in blogging because you WANT to - although I do also feel guilty when I take even a week off! >_< I see you got your hands on Healthy Mix Serum - how do you like it compared to the original? Also, aren't the Revlon Lip Butters amazing?? I keep going back for more! I haven't tried a shade yet that I didn't like. So far my faves are Creamsicle, Tutti Frutti, Creme Brulee, Gumdrop (surprisingly wearable!), and Peach Parfait (which I was sure I wouldn't like...). Hope you're loving grad school! :D

  13. I will definitely review it then! $27 is quite steep for a drugstore brand, no? It's such a great foundation, though!

  14. I'm so excited to try it!

  15. Yup, they're different! I have a sample of the regular healthy mix (which I like as well), but they're definitely different. And yes, the lip butters are very moisturizing! I actually have the grape baby lips one and I really, really love it. I'm not sure if all of the others are as moisturizing though :-/

  16. I know, right?! I was actually surprised by how much it looks like a lip gloss in the close-up photo! I'll definitely review them soon :)

  18. Oh, believe me, I've been feeling plenty of guilt for neglecting the blog, but I've just been so busy and lacking motivation to blog when I'm not busy :-/ I love healthy mix serum! It has lighter coverage and is much easier to blend than the original...more of a skin-like finish, in my opinion. And yes, I love the lip butters! They look amazing on you! I still sneak in some blog reading between study sessions :D I have peach parfait too and it's such a great everyday shade! And grad school is amazing - difficult and tiring but I LOVE it! :)

  19. NEED that lip colour! I'd love to see your thoughts on the Lip Butters :)

I looooove Chanel Dragon. I usually shy away from wearing reds during the day, but after reading Temptalia's post I was like 'argh I never use it ;~; what a waste' and busted it out to wear to lunch!

  20. I would love to see a review on the revlon lip butters. I've tried to buy these at Ulta but all the colors I wanted were either sold out or opened. I saw that Chanel post on Temptalia and I was tempted as well, especially since it looks so great on Christine. Unfortunately, I just bought like my fourth red lipstick during the VIB event so I couldn't justify buying another.

Yay yay yay I'm so happy you're back! I've really been back and forth about getting Dragon myself. I don't want to buy it *just* because it's being discontinued, because I'm also not sure I'll get a whole lot of use out of it. I have quite a few reds, and even though I know it's reportedly amazing I just don't know! (By the time I make up my mind it will be gone forever ... such is the curse of being indecisive!)

I'd love to see you in Dragon when it arrives, but I'd also love to see your thoughts on the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum :)
    ♥ Jessica

  37. hey! welcome back!! can't wait for your future posts. I'm always looking forward   to read what you have to say. I vote to review lip butters since the pictures you have here are better than people reviewing them on youtube. It looks really glossy on you which i'm very surprised; it looks like you put gloss on top of it.
