While I thoroughly enjoy blogging, reading blogs, and watching YouTube beauty channels, my wallet sure as hell doesn't! I can often be easily (too easily!) persuaded into buying things and after being bombarded with several different blog posts and/or videos of rave reviews of a particular product, more times than not, I usually end up purchasing it after succumbing to peer pressure and lack of self-control -__-

Have you ever purchased something based on recommendations made by other beauty bloggers and YouTubers?
Have I bought anything from a blogger/youtuber recommendation? When have I NOT is the question?! I want some MAC blushcremes too, but they are reformulating them and they are supposed to be better so I am going to wait. Nars sheer glow is hands down my favourite all-time foundation for sure, glad you got it :)

ReplyDeleteI think it's the "investigation" that gets me into trouble! I tell myself I'm doing consumer research when I read blogs (I know ... hardy har, right?) and then find myself doing even MORE consumer research when I buy things without batting an eyelash.

hahaha I always buy things that were recommended by other bloggers. since I have a tight budget limit on the amount of $$ i spend on makeup, I try to make sure that I buy something that I will use the often. :)

Then it was downhill from there for my wallet LOL I bought the NARS Sheer Glow (fortunately as discounted price at a makeup warehouse sale)! I really wanna try the Bare Minerals Well-Rested Eye Brightener because hrhcollection's just too pretty!

ReplyDelete@the Honey B: They're actually pretty different. Snob is a bit darker and has mauvey/purpley undertones and is a Satin finish, so not glossy like Gaga :)

Tiffany; Yes, it actually does look great as a blush, the bronze gives a very pretty bronzey-golden glow and the lighter shade gives a very natural glow, it's gorgeous :)
