My favorite red lipstick right now is Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Certainly Red but since I wore it not too long ago in this FOTD, I decided to go with MAC Lady Bug today. And just to shake things up a bit, I didn't opt for the usual, safe winged eyeliner look I normally pair with red lips. Go me!
Lady Bug is a sheer, but buildable, tomato red with a Lustre finish. I always use lipliner with darker Lustre MAC lipsticks because I find that they have a tendency to bleed a little bit throughout the day due to their glossier formula. Today I used NARS lipliner in Jungle Red.
Countdown until anticipated completion of challenge: 1 day.

I have to admit while I haven't posted on all of these looks I enjoy seeing this challenge. It's fun to see you try colors including those that really may not completely suit you for everyday wear.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of my first lip color my mom bought me as a tween. God awful really pale flat pink almost white. I put it on and was like OMG I look like a zombie. Great for Halloween, but otherwise thanks mom. :D

@Jessica: Viva Glam Cyndi is much more of a coral-red so compared to Ladybug, it looks much pinker. Side-by-side, they don't look the same at all. Hope that helps! :)
