Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick in Brownie

I've recently rediscovered my Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick in Brownie. I bought this about four years ago and have been in love with it ever since.  I'm actually pretty surprised I don't own more of them!

Shimmerbricks each have five strips of color that can be used individually or swirled together.  They can be used as a blush or swept over blush to illuminate it.  Since Brownie is one of the darker Shimmerbricks, I've only used it in place of a blush because I think it gives off quite a bit of color on its own. I've also found that I am able to use  the colors individually as eyeshadows, and I love beauty products that can multitask! The five strips in Brownie consist of pinks, mauves, and a reddish brown (all of which are shimmery, of course!).

Used individually as eyeshadows:

Used together as a blush:

  1. This is a lovely look. :) I also love Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks, my favourites are Rose and Peony, oh and the new Nectar one. Brownie looks great on you, it's a bit too dark for me.
